Hall Sheriffs South Precinct follows countys population growth

Hall County Deputy Edward Pittman operates a heavy-duty mower as he conquers the overgrown landscape at the sheriff’s office’s new South Hall Precinct. Pittman didn’t have to tackle the project on his own as he had a crew of work-release inmates on the job.
Hall County Sheriff Gerald Couch touted the planned South Hall Precinct, saying it will suit the county’s population and growth needs. “The biggest growth is in Oakwood and (farther) south. That’s the greatest population in Hall County, and it continues to grow,” Couch said.
