The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a rash of vehicle break-ins at Lake Lanier Islands Beach & Water Park.
The break-ins took place during the day on Saturday in the parking lot, said sheriff’s spokesman Col. Jeff Strickland.
Items taken included cell phones, portable media devices, a navigation system and one firearm.
The burglar “used some type of screwdriver to break into the vehicles,” Strickland said on Sunday.
The only property damage was to the vehicle locks, he added.
The sheriff’s office had no suspects as of Sunday.
“We have been extra patrolling the parking lot today,” Strickland said.
