Hall County commissioners heard two budget requests for 2014 at their meeting Wednesday afternoon from the Hall County Library System director and Superior Court clerk. Several commissioners weren’t particularly sympathetic to Library Director Adrian Mixson, pointing out that his budget wasn’t cut by the commission, but all county departments were forced to make 4 percent budget cuts. The library system is primarily funded by Hall County, but it’s more of a county agency, not a department, and the library workers are employees of the state.
