Hall kindergarten registration set for March 21-23

Kindergarten registration for Hall County Schools children entering kindergarten in the fall will be held at each of the Hall elementary schools on March 21 and March 22 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On March 23, registration will again be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and an evening registration will be held from 4-7 p.m. Enrolling kindergartners should accompany parents for pre-registration.

In order to be enrolled, children entering kindergarten must be five 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2017.

Parents or guardians must bring the child’s birth certificate; two proofs of residency; the ID of the parent or guardian and verification of guardianship; Georgia immunization certificate; certification of vision, hearing, dental and nutritional screening; and the child’s Social Security card. Parents may sign a waiver if they prefer not to give the Social Security number.

Also, children who will be entering first grade next fall, but are not currently enrolled in the Hall County school district, should pre-register during this same enrollment period. Children entering first grade must be 6 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2017, to be enrolled.
