Government offices not open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

Many government offices will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, including Gainesville and Hall County

Hall County’s administrative offices, courts, community centers, landfill and recycling center will be closed both days. Compactor sites will be open Christmas Eve but closed Christmas Day.

The Times office will close 2 p.m. Christmas Eve and be closed Christmas Day.

Hall and Gainesville students return to school Jan. 5.
