A Hall County Fire Services training instructor died Wednesday morning, according to the department.

Visitation for Lt. Angie Davis is set for 6-8 p.m. today at the Smith Memory Chapel, 755 Atlanta Highway in Winder.

“She worked at the training center and was very active with our recruits and all of our EMS/Fire training,” Capt. Zach Brackett said.

Davis started with the department in April 2014 as a training instructor. She worked for more than 13 years with the Clayton County Fire Department.

“We will miss and mourn Lt. Davis and never forget the contributions she made to this department and its personnel along with her contagious sense of humor and special laugh,” according to the Hall County Fire Services’ Facebook page.

The service is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Smith Memory Chapel.
