John Murray, a firefighter/paramedic with Hall County Fire Services, was named Georgia Firefighter of the Year at the annual Joint Fire Services Conference in Albany. Murray was nominated for the honor by colleagues from both Hall and Rabun counties. As a field training officer, Murray has the opportunity to mentor and tutor Hall County’s newest paramedics.
