Citizens interested in learning CPR can receive free training each month from Hall County Fire Services.
The classes will be held at 6 p.m. on the third Monday of each month at the Hall County Emergency Services Complex in Gainesville.
“It is our duty as men and women of Hall County Fire Services to protect and serve the citizens of Hall County,” Hall County Fire Chief Jeff Hood said in a news release. “We want to go above and beyond responding to citizens in their time of need by teaching them the skills they need to sustain life until our arrival.”
The course will teach the hands-only technique and will not use mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
The first class will be held Monday at the emergency services complex, 470 Crescent Drive in Gainesville.
