The Hall County Animal Shelter recently transported 31 dogs to a New York adoption event, where they were all adopted.
The dogs were taken to White Plains, N.Y., as part of a program that allows pets to be taken to other parts of the country where there is a shortage of adoptable animals. This was the fifth trip the shelter has made.
Dogs must be quarantined two weeks prior to the trip. They all also have had medical exams, received vaccinations and been tested for diseases.
