Employees of Hall County Schools are nearly certain to get a raise this year, though it remains to be determined how close that is to a 3 percent increase. The school board heard the first summary of budget figures at Monday’s work session. The draft 2016-17 school budget calls for spending of $228.1 million — an increase of about $8.5 million.
