Kindergarten registration for Hall County children will be held 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 29-30 and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. March 31 at each county elementary school.

Children should be age 5 on or before Sept. 1 to be enrolled.

First-graders not currently enrolled in Hall County Schools also should preregister at this time. First-graders should be 6 on or before Sept. 1.

Items required for registration include:

Child’s birth certificate

Proof of current residence (lease agreement, power bill, etc.)

Certificate of Immunization, Form 3231, Rev. 3-2007

Certificate of Ear, Eye and Dental Examinations (Form 3300)

Child’s Social Security number is requested

A kindergarten teacher will administer a short school readiness test to each child.
