Hall County fire crews were called Saturday night to battle a house fire south of Gainesville.

Crews responded to the fire in the 3400 block of Holcombe Drive off Mountain View Road at 9:25 p.m. and found the house fully involved in flames.

There were no reports of injuries or whether anyone was in the home at the time. The fire was reported by a neighbor.
A Fire Services investigator was called to the scene to determine the cause.

Earlier in the day, county firefighters put out a chicken house fire in the 5400 block of Bryant Quarter Road in East Hall reported just after noon.

The chicken house was used as storage and contained hay and farm equipment.
