The Hall County Board of Commissioners will meet today to discuss the project budget for Cherokee Bluffs Park. Located along Blackjack Road in Flowery Branch near Sterling on the Lake, plans for the 100-acre park include a 2,500-square-foot community building, pavilions, concession stand and outdoor amphitheater. The project budget is set at $2.8 million, but county officials said grading costs have turned out to be more expensive than first thought while the design and construction costs are less than initially estimated.
