Hall County firefighters rescued four campers stranded on the Chattahoochee River on Monday morning. “Apparently ... during the night their boat had floated away in the rains,” Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said. Authorities received a call at about 4:30 a.m. from the campers, who were about 2 miles north of Belton Bridge Park, off Belton Bridge Road in northeastern Hall.
