Graduation rates up in local schools

Hall County graduation rates increased in 2012 from 2011. In fact, rates increased more than 2 percentage points across Georgia, to 69.7 percent from 67.4 percent, according to information released Tuesday by the state Department of Education. The jump in Hall County Schools, to 74.4 percent from 72.7 percent, mirrors the state’s improvements.
