GOP forum to honor Rep. Collins, who is going to Iraq

A political forum this Saturday also will serve as a send-off for state House Rep. Doug Collins, who is set to deploy to Iraq next month.

The Hall County Republican Forum is planned for 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Ryan’s steakhouse at 2415 Browns Bridge Road. The forum is free and open to the public.

Collins, who will deploy to Iraq in September with U.S. Air Force’s 94th Airlift Wing, will be the guest speaker.
