Counte Cooley, a Gainesville athlete competing in the 45th National Singles Racquetball Championship, has won his first match and progressed to the next level of the competition.Cooley is competing in the men’s age 65 and over singles division. He is playing against the top racquetball players in the country this weekend in Fullerton, Calif.He will play his next round at 9:10 tonight. If he wins, he’ll move on to the championship round.
