A free Ask a Plumber workshop is planned March 16 at Riverside Water Treatment Plant.

The city of Gainesville is putting on the event noon to 1 p.m. at the plant at 2120 Riverside Drive, and lunch and a conservation kit will be provided.

“This is a great opportunity for residents to ask a plumber any question they might have,” Water Conservation Specialist Jennifer Flowers said. “We will also discuss where the most common leaks occur and demonstrate how to perform common repairs.”

The event is part of WaterSense’s Fix a Leak Week. WaterSense, an Environmental Protection Agency partnership program, provides data about leaks and tips on how to fix them.

Register for Ask a Plumber by calling Flowers at 770-532-7462.
