The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center will offer a workshop for individuals who are interested in either starting or growing a new venture.

Starting a Business will be held   from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 6  pm at The Featherbone Center, 999 Chestnut St., Gainesville. Workshop fee $69. Preregistration is required.

This is an interactive workshop that includes entrepreneurship, financial management, startup cost estimates, cash flow estimation, financing alternatives, brand management, social media and Internet marketing basics , legal forms, taxes and bookkeeping, and the basics of developing a business plan.
