A Gainesville teenager has been charged with rape involving a 14-year-old girl. A 16-year-old was arrested Tuesday and charged with rape, aggravated sodomy and second-degree burglary. Because the decision to try the teenager as an adult is up to the district attorney’s office, The Times will not name the accused.
