Gainesville police still looking for suspects

Gainesville police have released a composite drawing of a man who reportedly robbed a restaurant on Atlanta Highway more than two weeks ago.

The drawing depicts one of two men who reportedly went into Los 2 Hermanos Restaurant at 1870 Atlanta Highway at about 9:07 p.m. on Sept. 26, brandished a gun and demanded money from an employee and one patron, according to a report from Gainesville police Lt. Nina Harkins. No one was injured during the incident.

The first suspect is described as a heavyset, 5-foot-8-inch Hispanic male with blond hair wearing a white shirt and jeans.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a small build, wearing a black shirt and jeans.

The suspects left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, and Gainesville police are still investigating the incident, according to Lt. Brian Kelly.
