Police are seeking information in the death of a Gainesville man who was shot multiple times Friday night on Athens Street in Gainesville. Terry Jerome Maddox, 30, was identified as the victim. A Gainesville Police officer was flagged down just before 11 p.m. at the 900 block of Athens Street when multiple 911 calls came in to dispatch.
