Three suspects reportedly pulled a gun during a home invasion Tuesday in Gainesville, according to police.

Gainesville Police Cpl. Jessica Van said it happened on Spring Road around 7:30 a.m. The address given by police was for the Pointe Lanier Apartments.

Two Hispanic men and one black man are suspected, Van said.

“We do know that a firearm was brandished,” Van said, but she did not know the number or type of weapons used.

It was initially reported as an armed robbery.

Van said it “doesn’t appear that anything was taken,” and the victim sustained “minor superficial injuries.” Only one person was inside the home at the time of the incident, according to police.

“Motive and any other information is still under investigation,” Van said.
