The Gainesville Police Department has arrested three men in connection with an attempt to rob a man of cash at gunpoint in the parking lot of Target on Shallowford Road.

“Officers responded; they were quickly able to get a vehicle description and possible suspect description,” said Gainesville Police Department spokesman Cpl. Kevin Holbrook of the Wednesday incident.

Xavier Holland, 21, Zaccari Goudelock, 20, and Kenneth Loving, 17, were arrested later that day. The victim, Kyle Bledsoe, reportedly had more than $500 cash on him.

“Officers were able to locate the suspects on Azalea Drive, and with the assistance of Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies they were able to detain all three suspects,” Holbrook said Monday.

The alleged robbery took place around 6 p.m., Holbrook said.

Officers have taken one weapon into evidence, he said.

“Officers did recover a firearm — a handgun — that was utilized during the commission of the crime,” he said.

The three have each requested a probable cause hearing in Magistrate Court. The committal hearing is set for July 21.

Judge Margaret Gregory denied bond on the charges, and the men are being held at the Hall County Jail.
