The body found Tuesday night in North Hall County has been identified as Brian Keith Page, 44, of Clermont.

Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Deputy Nicole Bailes said an autopsy has been completed, but the cause of death can’t be determined until toxicology results come back.

Page is the former husband of Lisa Page, the passenger in the car with Lula councilwoman Vicky Chambers when her car crashed Jan. 10. Chambers and Lisa Page were hospitalized; Chambers died Jan. 22.

Lisa Page said Brian Page disappeared around Friday morning, which was unusual for him.

“Brian never didn’t just come home,” she said.

Brian Page, a dental lab technician, had been sick in the preceding weeks, but Lisa Page said she thought he might have gone to spend some time alone.

Lisa Page, along with her friends and family, organized the search to get the ball rolling while paperwork was being processed at the sheriff’s office.

“These kids need to know if their daddy is laying down there hurt, so I conducted a search,” she said.

Deputies responded around 7 p.m. Tuesday to a wooded area of Britt Whitmire Road, where they found the body of Brian Page.

Lisa Page said her ex-husband was found laying face down in the creek, where she does not suspect foul play or suicide.

“We were each other’s first loves and we got married very young. He worked and provided. He was a very loving father,” Lisa Page said.

Lisa Page, whose children are Nikki, Jordy and Brissa, said she hasn’t been able to work as much after the January car crash.

“I’ve got three kids to live for, and I know that’s why I survived Vicky’s wreck,” she said. “And now God has clearly shown me the answer because of this … I just have to make it. I have to pray. I have to not lose my faith even though it’s hard.

“I’m just ready for the black cloud to disappear.”

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Friday from 6-8 p.m.
