A Gainesville resident was arrested in Hall County on drug trafficking charges after $5,600 in methamphetamine was confiscated, law enforcement authorities said Thursday. Dennis Ray Cheek, 52, delivered about one ounce of methamphetamine to a predetermined location on South Enota Drive, according to Lt. Scott Ware of the Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad. Gainesville police and MANS agents arrested Cheek without incident.
