A Gainesville man is accused of having “repeated sexual contact with a minor child” for two years, according to authorities.
Russell Spangler Lowry, 53, was charged with aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, felony sexual battery and enticing a child for indecent purposes. He was booked Tuesday in to the Hall County Jail, where he remains.
“Sheriff’s investigators obtained warrants for his arrest after an investigation revealed that over a two-year period of time, from 2014-2016, Mr. Lowery had repeated sexual contact with a minor child,” Hall County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Stephen Wilbanks said.
The case is still under investigation.
