A Gainesville man was arrested Tuesday after authorities investigated a case involving a car bought with counterfeit $50 bills. Matthew Allen Turner, 33, was charged with 14 counts of second-degree forgery by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. He was booked into the Hall County Jail, where he remains.
