A consultant could be on board by late September or early October to begin what could be a yearlong study of Gainesville traffic. The Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization will be putting out a request for proposals by the end of August, Hall County Planning Director Srikanth Yamala said this morning. “We’ll be including extensive public and stakeholder involvement throughout the planning process,” Yamala said, speaking to the MPO’s Technical Coordinating Committee, a group of area planners and engineers.
