Gastroenterology Associates of Gainesville will open its new location for Gainesville Endoscopy Center on Thursday.

The center will be located at 2324 Limestone Overlook, Suite 200. This location is on the second floor of the main office of Gastroenterology Associates of Gainesville. The new center features an updated layout, a large waiting room, three cutting-edge procedure rooms and a recovery area. The location was chosen to provide a seamless experience for patients from consultation to procedure, according to a press release.

The center is certified by Medicare and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Inc. This center is dedicated solely to gastrointestinal endoscopy. Procedures offered include colonoscopies, esophagogastroduodenoscopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies and ORBERA non-surgical weight loss balloon.

The center will offer procedure appointments Monday through Friday with occasional weekend appointments throughout each month.
