Customers of the Gainesville Public Utilities department now have the option to pay bills online with Visa or MasterCard credit cards.

Customers can view their account histories, payments, billings and account balances by clicking a link on the city’s Web site, www.gainesville.org, according to a city report. The online payment service, UBPayments, will also allow customers to set a preference to receive their bills electronically.
