Gainesville collecting donations for annual Mayors Motorcade
Money, gifts benefit consumers of state mental health services

The city of Gainesville is teaming up with the Georgia Municipal Association for the 57th annual Mayors’ Motorcade.

Money and gifts collected will be delivered to the consumers of state mental health services residing in Gainesville-Hall County group homes.

Gift ideas include personal care items, sleepwear and bathrobes, comfortable clothing, bedroom shoes, sweat shirts/pants, hair items, board games, baseball caps, stationery, pens/pencils, tote bags, watches, CDs, DVDs (Rated PG or G only),  hats and gloves. 

Unwrapped gifts, wrapping paper and wrapping supplies should be dropped off at the Gainesville-Hall County Community Service Center at 430 Prior St. SE by Nov. 30.

Tax-deductible monetary contributions should be made payable to Gainesville-Hall County Community Service Center and mailed by Nov. 28 to Community Service Center, 430 Prior St. SE, Gainesville, GA 30501.
