Gainesville City Schools registration for 2011-2012 begins Monday for kindergarten and new students in grades first through eighth. Registration will be held at Woods Mill Academy, 715 Woods Mill Road, Gainesville.

Open enrollment for school choice programs is Monday through Feb. 16.

Those enrolling at Gainesville High School should register at the high school, located at 830 Century Place.

Students should bring a birth certificate, immunization record, Social Security card and proof of city residency such as a utility bill, mortgage or rental agreement.

Those currently enrolled will receive enrollment forms from their school on Monday.

These forms should be completed and returned by Feb. 16 to participate in school choice.

Those enrolled in grades five through 11 will complete enrollment in March.
