Forsyth issues boil water advisory for northeast part of county

Forsyth County has issued a boil water advisory for northeast portions of the county.

Residents should boil all water before drinking or cooking. Water should be boiled for at least one full minute after reaching full boil.

Water service was cut off in the area between Browns Bridge Road and Lake Lanier and was restored at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. The advisory will remain in effect for 30 hours following when the water was restored, unless residents are otherwise notified by Forsyth County Department of Water and Sewer.
