Forecasters say snow could be making its way toward North Georgia by Presidents Day.

The National Weather Service said Friday parts of North Georgia could see snow Monday night through Tuesday.

Forecasters say parts of the region could also see a rain and show mix. Meteorologists say it will be cold enough for snow to accumulate throughout North Georgia, but it's too early to predict how much.

Forecasters are also expecting bitter cold weather over the weekend with wind chills Sunday morning dropping to near 0 in parts of North Georgia.

Most school districts are scheduled to be out for the holiday on Monday, and would not be affected by the weather.
