No one qualified Thursday in the Flowery Branch City Council Post 2 race.

Mary Jones, a former councilwoman, qualified on Wednesday, the first day of qualifying.

Qualifying continues until noon today at City Hall, 5517 Main St. The qualifying fee is $144.

The Post 2 seat became vacant after former councilman Chris Fetterman resigned Jan. 3 for a job transfer to Florida. The city has set a March 6 special election to replace him.
