Flowery Branch police search yields quart jars of marijuana

A search Thursday by Flowery Branch police turned up 71 quart jars of marijuana and a 5-gallon plastic container of marijuana at a residence in the 1500 block of Treepark Circle, according to Gerald Lanich, chief of the Flowery Branch Police Department.

The resident of the home, Eric Michael Sutton, was charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

The search led police officers to also search a home in the 4800 block of nearby Beacon Ridge Lane. Two quart jars of marijuana were found, according to Lanich.

The resident, April Galloway, was charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of drug-related objects.
