Outdoor drop boxes may be allowed in Flowery Branch, but only those related to the property they’re on. The city is mulling an ordinance that says “drop boxes not associated with the principal use of the property on which they’re located (would) be prohibited,” city planner John McHenry said, speaking to Flowery Branch City Council Thursday night. Examples of a legal drop box would be the book deposit containers at the Hall County Library System’s branch off Spout Springs Road or recycling containers at the Publix grocery store off Spout Springs.
