A Flowery Branch man has been charged after law enforcement agents discovered methamphetamine, firearms and other materials in his home.
Agents with the Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad arrested Justin Dewan Hawes, 29, of Flowery Branch. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He also faces a probation warrant.
Agents searching the home in the 5100 Block of Oliver Road found methamphetamine, scales, packaging materials, a shotgun and a .22 caliber rifle. No dollar figure on the amount of the drugs was released.
Hawes was arrested without incident and booked into the Hall County Jail.
