A Flowery Branch man is accused of stabbing an acquaintance in the chest, leg and face, according to authorities.
James Burner, 39, is charged with aggravated assault.
According to authorities, Burner stabbed the victim in the chest, leg and face. The victim was transported by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where he underwent surgery.
“The victim and Burner know one another,” Hall County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Scott Ware wrote in a news release, but he couldn’t disclose the nature of the relationship. “The victim is currently out of surgery and recovering.”
Burner was arrested by Flowery Branch Police, and the case is still under investigation.
