A young child and four adults were injured and transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a head-on collision Tuesday morning in Gainesville, according to police. Police spokesman Cpl. Kevin Holbrook said the child, who is 16 months old, was listed in serious condition. The wreck — which happened about 10 a.m. at the intersection of Montgomery Drive and Browns Bridge Road — involved two vehicles and seven total passengers, shutting down Browns Bridge Road for about an hour and a half late Tuesday morning.
