Fire sends one to hospital with smoke inhalation
A fire at this Gillsville Highway home on Tuesday sent one person to the hospital with smoke inhalation.

A fire on Gillsville Highway sent one person to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for smoke inhalation on Tuesday.

Hall County Fire Services responded to the 2800 block of Gillsville Highway off U.S. 129 South about 4 p.m. The 1,200-square-foot home had heavy smoke showing, and “the fire was extinguished quickly utilizing an offensive attack,” according to Hall County Fire Services Capt. Zachary Brackett.

The fire’s cause isn’t yet known.
