Two residents escaped a mobile home fire early Saturday morning in North Hall County, but the home was a total loss.

Hall County Fire Services crews responded to the fire around 3:25 a.m. in the 4900 block of Pleasant Hill Road off Cobb Griffin Road in Northeastern Hall County, spokesman Capt. Zachary Brackett reported in a news release. They found a 12-feet by 60-feet mobile home fully involved with fire.

The home's two occupants awoke to the smell of smoke and escaped before crews arrived. They were evaluated for smoke inhalation but declined to go to the hospital. The Red Cross was notified for assistance.

The mobile home was a total loss at an estimated value of $20,000. The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.
