Fire destroyed a doublewide mobile home on the 5600 block of Hemlock Street in Lula Sunday.

No one was injured in the fire, which took place about 3:05 p.m.

"The homeowners called in that they were burning some yard trash outside, and (the trash) blew under their mobile home and set (it) on fire," Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said.

When firefighters arrived, the trailer was engulfed in fire.

Kimbrell didn't have an estimated cost of the damage.

The fire is under investigation, but it appears events unfolded just as the homeowners had described, the chief said.

"The probable cause is a controlled burn that got out of control," Kimbrell said.
