An early morning fire destroyed a catering business on White Sulphur Road today.

Food Factory Catering at 3139 White Sulphur Road was destroyed by fire overnight, said Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., firefighters responded to reports of a fire at the business. More than half of the 1,800 square foot building was engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived, Cagle said.

No one was injured during the fire; the business’ owners, William and Greg Crowe, were not present at the time the fire started, Cagle said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, though it appears to be accidental, Cagle said.

Damages are estimated at about $150,000.
