Hall County Fire Services is investigating a blaze that destroyed an East Hall home late Wednesday.

No one was at home at the time of the fire in the 4200 block of Rolling Ridge Drive off Harmony Church Road.

Firefighters received several calls after 10 p.m. reporting the fire.

When firefighters arrived, they found a double-wide mobile home engulfed in fire, Fire Marshal Capt. Scott Cagle said.

"At first, it was believed that occupants were still in the residence, but fire officials were able to (learn) later that all occupants were accounted for," he said in an email sent after midnight.

The fire’s cause hasn’t been determined yet. Cagle said he would return to the scene after daylight to begin the investigation.

The structure and contents were a total loss, valued at about $40,000, he said.
