Fire damaged a house in the 200 block of Crescent Circle off Old Cornelia Highway Thursday night, Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said.

Firefighters arrived after 10 p.m. to find about 25 percent of the 1,000-square-foot home was on fire, Kimbrell said.

One person checked on the scene had smoke inhalation but was not transported to a hospital, he said.

Fire investigators were on the scene to determine the cause of the blaze.
