Hall County fire officials are investigating a Sunday blaze at a home in the 4300 block of Cherokee Trail in West Hall.

Upon arrival, firefighters found that more than half of the 2,000-square-foot home was on fire, said Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell.

The person who called in the fire at 2:38 p.m. said the fire started in the kitchen.

“All occupants are accounted for and were able to evacuate the house,” Kimbrell said.

Other details weren’t available late Sunday.
