HemlockFest, a family-friendly festival with an environmental theme, continues through 4 p.m. today at Starbridge Retreat, 396 Starbridge Road, Murrayville.

The annual event on the 50-acre private resort includes music, art, educational workshops, canoeing, camping and hiking, with handicrafts on sale at vendor booths. A day pass is $10 for today’s final session. Children ages 15 and younger are admitted free with adult.

HemlockFest is the annual fundraising and educational benefit festival for Lumpkin Coalition, with proceeds going to saving endangered hemlock trees and preserve the Southern Appalachian ecosystem. For more, visit www.HemlockFest.org.
