Family of slain Flowery Branch man offers $5,000 reward for information

The family of a Flowery Branch man killed at the front door of his home is offering a $5,000 reward for information on who was involved.

Ricko Bledson, 39, was found Aug. 6 at his Chinook Court home off of Jim Crow Road with a single gunshot wound to his chest. He died later at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

The case has been investigated by the Flowery Branch Police Department, the Gainesville Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

“At this time, the Bledson family would like to offer a $5,000 reward to any person or persons having information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person or persons involved in the murder of Mr. Bledson,” Flowery Branch Police Chief David Spillers wrote Wednesday in an email.
